At HIA we believe in accomodating you, the student. So we have made all of the following courses available for your choosing! Choose anywhere between 2 weeks or more! It's easy, just fill out our online application and let us know how long you wish to attend and your approximate starting date! Intensive English(15, 20, 25hrs/week) 
Who should take this course?
Students and professionals interested in improving their general English language skills.
Goal - To develop the skills necessary to achieve a higher level of proficiency in English.
Implementation - Core Courses are:
- Reading and Writing
- Listening and Speaking:
Focus classes are recommended on a weekly basis to students who need tutoring in a specific part of the core instruction.

Implementation - Students will learn an academic vocabulary and study skills based on iBT TOEFL. College Pathway Program
This Program is directed toward the students who are planning to transfer to Colleges or Universities in the US, or to stay in the US long term in order to improve your English Skill. The students will take our ESL Courses for at least 2 terms and up to 4 terms. One term is for 10 weeks. Moreover you will get an additional discount from our regular program rate.
Moreover, students who take our College Pathway Program in the Level 5 (advanced) class for 10 weeks(Grossmont College), 12 weeks(Orange Coast College) or more will have a chance to transfer to OCC without a TOEFL score!

J-1 Internship Program
Upon J-1 visa approval, students start a maximum of 18 months internship at a local company. Interns are allowed to receive a compensation legally. Interns are also allowed to change their status from F-1 to J-1 after they arrive in the U.S.
* We cannot guarantee any type of visa since these are approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.The U.S. Department of Homeland Security may for any reason (or no reason at all) deny any visa.
English & Sports Programs(English & Golf, Surfing, Tennis)

The program is directed toward all levels of golf, beginning through advance. Students learn to chip, pitch, putt and full swing plus fundamentals in golf-etiquette, terminology, rules and on-course skills. This is a hands-on program with each students receiving personal attention from the instructor. The golf course is within walking distance from the school. English & Volunteer Program

This program is composed of an integrated skills English class. Students will learn to use their English in practical and real life situations while developing a sense of community in San Diego. Volunteering options depends upon availability. |

Parent & Child Homestay Program

Our "Parent & Child Homestay Program" is a wonderful experience for the people who would like to stay with an American Family and learn English and American Culture. Moreover you can take private English lesson with our great teacher at HIA. |
Sea World® Camp Program 
|

Students will participate in our 15-hour Intensive English program for the first 2 weeks. After the student has completed the English language program, he/she will be transferred to the Sea World® premises in a safe and secure environment. The camp includes accommodation in large, modern dormitories, three meals per day, 24-hour supervision and daily park admission. |

Senior Resort Program
| The program - The program is directed toward individuals and groups who would like to spend an exciting time in San Diego, while combining English lessons with relaxation and entertaining/cultural activities. | ||
| The English program - Students will participate in our 10-hour Private English Lesson with HIA instructors at Hotel. The Private English lesson is designed to improve all areas of the English language including reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms, etc.. All HIA instructors hold Bachelor's degrees, have extensive ESL teacher training/credentials and enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. |
