It is my ultimate goal to learn the culture of America and the economic system through U.S. life. Now, the world is in a major recession. The U.S. is in the same situation. I am studying the economic course of this country. I want to know New York’s capital market situations and Chicago’s future trade market systems. Additionally, I am trying to inspire a global mind for my son who is living with me. |

The weather is so great. Especially, San Diego winter is like Korea’s early summer, so it makes me refreshed and I want to run outside sometimes. San Diego is a very convenient city if you have a car, because the roads are well developed. There are many beautiful beaches, parks, lakes and mountains at all corners, also San Diego is near to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It is a nice tour place to travel in this country. |

HIA gives me various approaches to studying English. I am taught grammar and writing skills through the regular class: writing, reading, listening and speaking. When in TOEIC, the teacher doesn’t just teach TOEIC. He presents varied materials such as magazine articles, realistic writing and movies for case study. Otherwise, after regular school we have free classes like pronunciation café and conversation club. I can maintain English balance through this class. Finally, that I met international students is my other pleasure at HIA, so we can share our cultures. |

And HIA’s students are really serious about studying English. It is stimulus to improve my English skills. First time I was really nervous about classmate’s English skills, but now I feel proud about my job. |

Teachers here are gracious and willing to give you help. HIA has different curriculum to help students advance in English skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. You can choose the classes which suit you. You can use the computer and student lounge for free, there are refrigerator, microwave, etc. It’s convenient for me to prepare lunch. You can learn a lot of things here, not only the English skills, but the life and culture in America. School will plan interesting activities every week, you can join it and have fun with other students. you can know lots of friends here. It’s worth for me to pay a little and get a lot. |

What's your goal for study abroad? |

| My goal for study abroad is to graduate a college in the United State in the future. Learning English language is important in today's world. When I consider that approximately 375 million people in the world speak English, and equally large number of people speak English as a second language, and around 750 million people speak English as a foreign language, English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. In additon, english is studied by one billion people or more now. In fact, because the foreign language and I might be their one, it is estimated that four people study English. | |||

| I am very satisfied with the teachers' ability at HIA. I think my English is improving compare to before. I am trying to say or write anything I want to, also I might understand most of what I hear. My favorite class is writing class, students have to try to understand converstaions or english sentences from audios, tapes, and CDs. Moreover, we have to understand newspaper, specific topics, and general information. I will keep learning for the rest of my HIA session. | |||
