HIA has a new partnership college - Orange Coast College! OCC is located in Costa Mesa, California, which is a few minutes from the beach and about 30 minutes from Los Angeles. There are more than 28,000 students who attend OCC each semester. After attending OCC, students often transfer to a four year university to continue their studies. Students who take our College Pathway Program in the Level 5 (advanced) class for 12 weeks or more will have a chance to transfer to OCC without a TOEFL score! If you want to attend a college or university in the United States, this is a great program for you.

The first Sunday in April is Easter. For Easter, many American families have a big dinner with family and take their children to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. Also, they often dye Easter eggs, which students will have a chance to do at HIA. Finally, a popular tradition is the Easter Egg Hunt, which is a game where children search for real or plastic eggs that have been hidden. Also, during April, baseball season starts in the U.S. Our San Diego Padres play in PetcoPark, which is downtown. On April 15, an activity is planned for the students at HIA to attend a baseball game together. The baseball games are reasonably priced so that everyone can enjoy an afternoon or evening at the ball game. |
