The English program -
Students will participate in our 15-hour
Intensive English program. The Intensive
English program is designed to improve all
areas of the English language including
reading, writing, listening, speaking,
vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms, etc. The
program will be offered at different levels
(beginning through advanced).
In addition to our academic programs, HIA
offers social, recreational, and cultural
activities on a regular basis.
All HIA instructors hold Bachelor's degrees,
have extensive ESL teacher
training/credentials and enjoy working in a
multi-cultural environment. Many of our
teachers also hold Master's degrees as well.
All are experienced and caring American
professionals who are concerned with each
student’s academic progress.
The Homestay -
During the stay at our school, students will
be staying with a host family. A homestay is
the best way to experience American daily
life, learn about American culture, and
practice the language. All families are
carefully selected and continuously screened.
Each participant will have a private room in
a caring family environment.
SeaWorld® camp -
After the student has completed the
English language program, he/she will be
transferred to the SeaWorld® residence
camp, located on the SeaWorld® premises
in a safe and secure environment.
The camp includes accommodations in large,
modern dormitories, three meals per day,
24-hour supervision and daily park admission.
The SeaWorld® Adventure camp for
teenagers is a career camp that gives
participants a realistic, hands-on look at
what animal care positions involve. Students
will visit several animal areas throughout the
week and learn in-depth information about
the animals at SeaWorld®.
