The program -
The program is directed toward
individuals and groups who would
like to spend an exciting time
in San Diego, while combining
English lessons with relaxation
and entertaining/cultural activities.
The English program-
Students will participate in our
15-hour Intensive English
program tailored especially for
them.
The Intensive English program is
designed to improve all areas of
the English language including
reading, writing, listening,
speaking, vocabulary,
pronunciation, idioms, etc..
All HIA instructors hold Bachelor's
degrees, have extensive ESL
teacher training/credentials and
enjoy working in a multi-cultural
environment. Many of our
teachers also hold Master's
degrees.
The accommodation-
Guests will live at “Chateau La
Jolla”, a luxurious community
in the midst of the most exclusive
and desirable resort area in
Southern California. “Chateau La
Jolla ” consists of 3 French
Normandy style buildings partially
overlooking beautiful sandy
beaches and the Pacific Ocean .
Four blocks from the Chateau is
downtown La Jolla, a charming
and sophisticated Mediterranean-
style village.
The activities-
The guests will have a wide range
of activities to choose from.
Activities include: Tour of San
Diego, visits to parks and
museums, the world famous
San Diego Zoo, and Seaworld,
bay cruises and much more.
Optional weekend trips include
Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and the
Grand Canyon .
Guests will be able to take part in
the activities organized by the
Chateau as well:luncheons, board
and card games, and fitness
lessons are also a great way to
interact and get to know the
residents who live at the Chateau.

Prices are per person and include: accommodations, breakfast and dinner, 15 hours of English instruction and transportation to the following activities: San Diego tour, Cabrillo National Monument, Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, a bay cruise, wine tasting in Temacula. The 4-week program also includes a visit to a casino and a trip to the quaint village of Julian.
